State-Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator
State-Legal Psilocybin Journeys & Integration Support
Portland & Salem, Oregon
Feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step?
At a turning point in life and not sure how to move forward? Whether you’re carrying heaviness, longing for purpose, or simply tired of feeling stuck, you’re not alone. Many people come to this work ready to shed old layers, explore what’s possible, and reconnect with who they truly are. If you’re ready for something to shift—even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet—this may be the place to begin.
I am a state-licensed psilocybin facilitator in both Oregon and Colorado, trained through InnerTrek—the first state-accredited psychedelic facilitation program, founded by the architects of Oregon’s psilocybin law. With over 25 years of experience in community building and healing advocacy, I bring grounded presence and a trauma-informed lens to every session.
I specialize in supporting those navigating feeling stuck, depression, emptiness, anxiety, challenges with self-esteem and confidence, burnout, loss, grief, LGBTQ+ identity, neurodiversity, women’s issues, creative blocks, and the challenges of entrepreneurship. I am also a member of the Portland Grief House Death Collective, supporting individuals who are grieving, facing a diagnosis, or seeing a psychedelic journey as part of their end-of-life plan.
In addition to my private practice, I served as the lead facilitator and coordination support for the CUT.com viral film “Grandmas Try Magic Mushrooms for the First Time,” helping create a safe, supportive, and legally-regulated environment for participants exploring psilocybin.
My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and creating safe, intentional space for personal transformation.
If you are curious about doing this work, I’d love to connect with you.

Here’s what a few clients have shared with me about their experience
My journey experience with InnerTrek was exceptional. I strongly recommend anyone considering psychedelic therapy to stage their journey with them.
I came to InnerTrek through the recommendation of Dr. Tony Back, a pallative care specialist at the University of Washington, who is active in MAPS. I’m older (75), 26 years sober and healthy, although I had open heart surgery 12 years ago. I was aware of the benefits of psilocybin therapy, but I was concerned about how I would feel after eating the mushroom. I didn’t want to feel any rush of intoxication, which I did not. Dr. Seth Mehr, InnerTrek’s staff physician, thoroughly reviewed my medical records and determined that I was a viable candidate for therapy. I experienced no adverse physical effects.
I had three pre-journey consultations with my facilitator, Lisa Snyder, before my journey and three post-journey integration sessions, all virtual. She helped me prepare and later helped me integrate what I experienced, which was remarkable. As advised, I had clear goals for what I hoped to achieve: greater feelings of gratitude, serenity, acceptance and joy in my life. By temporarily disengaging my brain’s default mode network, I was able to understand and appreciate events and relationships from my past that were nagging problems. Immediately after my journey, I had strong feelings of ease and calm. Surprisingly for a former journalist, I had a significant decrease in my interest in daily news. I added many entries in my journal to record these feelings. This period of “floaty ease” continued for about two weeks, after which I continued to have a more subtle sense of ease about my life.
InnerTrek’s facility was quite lovely—not at all clinical—and the way Lisa and her co-facilitator guided me was exceptional. The hardest part for me was not having coffee or my usual light breakfast on my journey day. After, I felt better than normal; certainly no “hung over” effect. As advised, my wife and I spent an extra day in Portland to help with my integration. We went to a soaking spa where I was quite chatty about my experience and what was revealed to me.
Just wanted to say hello, and thank you again. I completed the most recent survey for the OPEN study, and it reminded me what a positive experience I had with you, before, during, and after my journey. I feel so grateful for the opportunity, and may want to try another journey sometime – I’ll let you know if/when.
One of many gifts from my journey is that I find it easier to ask for and to accept help from others, which is especially important right now. It also is easier to offer help and support to others in the ways that I can, which sometimes seem small but are all just a part of the natural flow and exchange of energy that I was able to really see and feel during my journey.
I credit my work with you as deepening my intentions to “lean in” in two key areas of my life. First is in my creativity, and second is in my desire for authenticity in communicating in my key relationships. So one area is solo, and one area heavily involves others. I know the solo efforts in creativity are paying off, and I’m hopeful the relationship work is too, though that cannot be measured solely by what I get from it. I will say that post-journey I have a calmness now that benefits me at times of difficult communication. I find I rarely get as upset as I used to when things trigger me. It’s as though I have an increased comfort level with honesty, both what I give to and what I get from those close to me, that has definitely changed. It feels like an artifact of my journey experience, so I’m going with it.
So all this is a long way of acknowledging with gratitude the part you played in supporting me in this transformative experience. I’ll never forget it, or you. Thank you for helping me.
